Instructions on Subscribing to the Listserve
To assure that information regarding the reconciliation of the purchasing card reaches all reconcilers, a listserve has been
established. This listserve is maintained by Debbie Meder (dmm4@psu.edu) and is open to anyone who wishes to subscribe.
It is highly recommended that anyone who has responsibility for reconciliation subscribe to this listserve. It will be used to post
updates on changes in the Purchasing Card program (changes in exceptions for use, revisions to policy or procedure) and will
be used to send important information about the system (i.e. system problems or changes).
Subscribing to the Listserve:
Subscribing to the listserve only takes a few minutes. Follow these simple steps:
Access your preferred E-mail system (Eudora, MS Mail, Outlook, etc.) BE SURE TO USE YOUR PREFERRED SYSTEM - the listserve will only allow you to send messages to the address it reads off your initial mail message.
(For example, SUBSCRIBE L-PCRECO Debbie Meder)
Canceling Your Subscription:
To cancel your subscription, follow the previous procedure, but in the text section, type: SIGNOFF L-PCRECO
Send it and you will again get a confirmation that your subscription to the listserve has been cancelled.
Sending Messages to the List:
To send a message to everyone on the listserve, send an e-mail to: L-PCRECO@lists.psu.edu
PLEASE ONLY POST MESSAGES OR INFORMATION ON THE LISTSERVE THAT EVERYONE WILL BE
INTERESTED IN. If you have a question just for me, send it to dmm4@psu.edu, not the listserve. If I feel that everyone will
gain from the answer to the question, I will send it out on the listserve for everyone else to read.
If you have any problems subscribing to the listserve, contact your Financial Officer first. If you still have problems, please
send e-mail to dmm4@psu.edu or call Debbie Meder at 865-1821.
