Personnel Announcement

I am pleased to announce that after an extensive search, Richard Killian has accepted the position of Manager of Research Accounting.  Richard comes to Penn State with an extensive financial background where most recently he has served as the Deputy Controller of Centre County having responsibility for oversight of all financial aspects of the county.  He has earned his MBA, is a Certified Internal Auditor, and has had extensive experience in management and accounts receivable, as well as managing governmental grants and contracts.

Richard’s major duties will be to oversee the day to day operations of Research Accounting, assist in the creation and preparation of numerous financial reports, and to help in the negotiation of the financial aspects of sponsored awards.

Richard will begin his new responsibilities on January 2nd, 2008.
